Reece Duca
Reece Duca is founder and Chairman of the Board of GlobalEnglish Corporation, the leading provider of on-line English language instruction to global corporations. GlobalEnglish has offices in 16 countries and reaches students in 100 countries. Reece is also the Chairman and founder of Mindflash Technologies, an innovator and leading provider of on-demand e-learning tools for the development of corporate training and education portals.
Reece is a partner and founder of the Investment Group of Santa Barbara, a private investment company which has started 15 companies over the last 30 years. Five companies became publicly traded and six merged with other public corporations. Among those companies, Reece served as the Chairman of the Board and helped shape the business and product strategy of two highly regarded NASDAQ companies; Advent Software, Inc., the largest provider of portfolio and trade order management solutions for investment professionals; and the original The Learning Company, Inc., the leader in developing high quality educational technology products for the school and home. Mr. Duca received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.
