About TIRF > Trustees > JoAnn (Jodi) Crandall
Professor, University of Maryland Baltimore County
Dr. Crandall served as Co-Director of the MA Program in ESOL/Bilingual Education, and Director of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in Language, Literacy, and Culture. She has been President of both TESOL (1987-1988) and AAAL (1995-1996). She was the recipient of the Alatis Award for Service to TESOL in 1999, the Outstanding Scholarship and Service Award for AAAL in 2001, and the University of Maryland's Regents Award for Public Service.
