About TIRF > Key Questions Initiative
TIRF is developing a series of reports that addresses key, unanswered questions regarding policies and practices in English language education worldwide. TIRF is proud to announce the first of these reports, "The Impact of English and Plurilingualism in Global Corporations". To see a summary of this report, please click here. At the 2010 TESOL Convention in Boston, TIRF hosted a panel discussion related to this first Key Questions paper. The presentation was entitled "Research Evidence and the Global Economic Role of English." Our panelists were Lorraine de Matos (Cultura Inglesa, São Paulo, Brazil), Reece Duca (GlobalEnglish Corporation), and Michael Carrier (the British Council).
