TIRF’s AI Show & Tell Continues to Build Practical AI Skills
TIRF successfully hosted the latest installment of its AI Show & Tell webinar series on August 12th, continuing the Foundation’s efforts to provide practical, accessible professional learning around artificial intelligence and English language education. More than 100 colleagues registered for the session, thereby demonstrating the desire for this type of professional resource among TIRF supporters worldwide.
Building on the enthusiastic response to TIRF’s inaugural AI Show & Tell, the August session once again brought together an outstanding team of presenters to demonstrate practical ways AI can support teaching, learning, assessment, and professional practice. Through demonstrations and real-world examples, presenters introduced participants to emerging AI tools and shared strategies educators can adapt to their own contexts.

The webinar is part of TIRF’s growing commitment to helping educators engage with AI in informed, practical, and responsible ways. For those who were unable to attend—or who would like to revisit the demonstrations—watch the recording of the August AI Show & Tell webinar here.
The session also complements TIRF’s expanding collection of freely available AI resources. These include recordings and materials from previous AI Show & Tell events, practical resource videos, curated materials, and TIRF’s AI Ethics: Policy Guidance for Language Education. Together, these resources reflect TIRF’s commitment to connecting research, policy, and practice as educators navigate the rapidly changing role of AI in language education. Click here to learn more.
