Around the world, we’re starting to see signs of a healthier global community and recovery from the ongoing pandemic. However, as it is still too early for large, face-to-face gatherings, both the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) and TESOL International Association are preparing for their annual conferences to be held virtually. In this piece, we share details about attending these events online.

The AAAL Conference will be hosted March 20-23. The event will feature nearly 1,000 presentations across 22 different thematic strands. Almost all the content will be recorded, close-captioned, and available to registered attendees for six months during/after the conference. The TESOL Convention will be hosted March 24-27. The event will feature more than 500 sessions and involve more than 4,000 colleagues from around the world. Attending the Convention will help you build your professional network, learn from the various speakers, and gather resources from experts in our field. We hope you will consider supporting AAAL and TESOL at their upcoming events!
