Our mid-year appeal kicked off less than a month ago and, thus far, we have received just a few donations (thank you, donors!) in support of TIRF’s Russell N. Cambell (RNC) endowment. The good news is that we still have until the end of July to raise funds for the vehicle that supports the top-ranked Doctoral Dissertation Grant (DDG) each year. With your help, we can inch closer to our goals.

As reported in last month’s newsletter, money raised for TIRF’s RNC fund is being used to establish an endowment, so that both the DDG program and the RNC award honoring the memory and legacy of Russ may live in perpetuity. Our ultimate goal for the endowment is to raise a total of $100,000.
We would be thrilled to have you consider donating to the endowment. Your gift is viewed as supporting the future of our field through the important research our DDG awardees conduct, as well as the impact they will make on others’ lives. Receiving a DDG not only provides the recipient financial assistance, but also welcomes them to TIRF’s network while providing them a boost of confidence and a validation of their work, as our past grantees have said.
Please, will you consider donating to our mid-year appeal?
