Editor’s note: In this piece, we share information from TESOL International Association, regarding an award designed to recognize excellence in research.
TESOL International Association is currently accepting nominations for the TESOL Award for Excellence in Research. All nominations must be submitted by November 30th.
The purpose of the award is to recognize excellence in research on language teaching and learning. The award will be given for empirical research that advances English language teaching policies, programs, or practices, or generates new knowledge about additional language acquisition.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must be TESOL members who have published a research article in a peer-reviewed journal. The award will bestow upon its recipient a prize in the amount of US $1,500, with additional travel-related expenses to the 2023 TESOL Convention in Portland, Oregon, USA provided.
