Earlier this week on #GivingTuesday, TIRF launched its year-end fundraising campaign. From now until December 31st, TIRF Trustees are matching donations from the public, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. We hope you and other TIRF supporters will consider getting involved by year’s end by making a donation.
In years past, our year-end appeals have been major sources of fundraising for TIRF’s programs and operations. Support from the public remains a vital part of our revenue generation mix, allowing us to continue to serve the needs of teachers, students, researchers, teacher educators, and many others in our field.
Unlike many other nonprofit organizations, TIRF does not enjoy revenues from membership dues, investment income from an endowment, products sales, or grants. Instead, TIRF develops partnerships, offers services, and raises funds from individuals like you who are sympathetic to our mission.
By the end of the year, we hope to raise a total of $20,000 from the public and our TIRF Trustees, but we’ll need your help to unlock the total pool of funds from TIRF’s Board members.
