TIRF-BNBU to Host AI4ELE 2026
TIRF is pleased to once again partner with Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) to co-host the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for English Language Education (AI4ELE 2026). Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, AI4ELE returns to Zhuhai, China, on October 24–25, 2026, bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers, and educational leaders from around the world to explore one of the most rapidly evolving areas in our profession.

This year’s conference will examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping the teaching and learning of English and other languages. Through keynote addresses, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and demonstrations, participants will engage with practical applications of AI while also considering important questions related to ethics, assessment, curriculum design, teacher development, and policy. The program is designed to provide attendees with both research-informed perspectives and immediately applicable classroom and institutional strategies.
AI4ELE reflects TIRF’s ongoing commitment to fostering informed conversations about emerging technologies and supporting the language education community in responding thoughtfully to change. By bringing together international experts and practitioners, the conference creates opportunities to share innovative ideas, build professional networks, and advance responsible uses of AI in language education.
Whether you are already integrating AI into your teaching or are just beginning to explore its possibilities, AI4ELE 2026 offers an engaging forum for learning, discussion, and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming participants as we continue building this growing international community.
