TIRF Books Featured in Routledge Back-to-School Sale

From now until September 26th, all 11 volumes in the TIRF Routledge series, “Global Research on Teaching and Learning English,” will be on sale. Text on the Routledge website notes that these books offer a collection of previously unpublished empirical studies conducted by TIRF grant recipients throughout the world, as well as additional chapters from invited scholars.

By clicking on the link above, you can access information about all 11 books. Each volume’s table of contents is shared under each book’s landing page.

“In TIRF’s partnership with Routledge, all the books in this series are copublished,” said Kathi Bailey, series co-editor (along with Ryan Damerow). “We have a great working relationship with the Routledge editorial and production teams. They are very responsive and care deeply about TIRF and our profession.”

Bailey added that all the editors and authors of these books forego payment of any honoraria or royalties so that profits from sales can be directed to support of TIRF’s programs. “Their work contributes to the field’s knowledge base,” she added, “and it is particularly rewarding to see junior scholars’ research reach an international reading audience.”

The twelfth book in the series, Research on Language Learning and Teaching in Digital Spaces, is currently being edited by Polina Vinogradova (American University, Washington, DC) and Heather Linville (University of Wisconsin-La Crosse). Its publication will be announced in TIRF Today and on our website as soon as it is available.
