TIRF Launches AI Show & Tell Video Series, Announces Complimentary Webinar
We are pleased to announce the release of TIRF’s AI Show & Tell video series and accompanying scorecards! These resources are now available to support English language educators worldwide. Additionally, we are excited to share news of an upcoming webinar that will be held in May, 2026 as an opportunity to engage more deeply with these resources and the educators behind them.

TIRF’s AI Show & Tell initiative—introduced as a practical, educator-driven exploration of AI in English language teaching—now features a growing library of short videos and accompanying scorecards available on the TIRF website. Through these resources, educators from diverse contexts demonstrate tools such as Canva AI, Google Gemini, NotebookLM, and others, offering concrete classroom applications alongside structured “Teacher Review Cards” that highlight each tool’s key features, best uses, limitations, and instructional value.
Together, the videos and scorecards provide a consistent, practitioner-friendly framework for evaluating AI tools, helping teachers move beyond experimentation toward informed, purposeful integration in areas such as instruction, assessment, curriculum design, and learner engagement. With 10 contributions already available, this collection represents a practical, global snapshot of how educators are navigating generative AI in real classrooms.
To build on these insights, TIRF will host a webinar on Friday, May 22nd from 10-11am ET, bringing together the project’s contributors to reflect on lessons learned and engage directly with participants. The session will offer an opportunity to explore key themes emerging from the videos and scorecards while inviting deeper discussion with the global language education community.
