TIRF’s services and events continued to grow. The TIRF Talks website was refreshed, and TIRF Quality Assurance launched a new certificate-bearing framework to support English language programs worldwide. Two major events in 2025—the “AI-Empowered English Language Teaching and Learning” conference in Zhuhai, China, and the TESOL-TIRF Research Symposium—expanded engagement with educators and researchers globally.

The next Board meeting is scheduled for March 2026 during the TESOL convention in Salt Lake City, with continued focus on advancing English language education worldwide and strengthening TIRF’s programs and impact.
