For all those who were unable to attend the TESOL Convention last month in Atlanta, Georgia, TIRF is pleased to share access to a slidecast (which features the PPT slides used during the talk matched with the audio from the session) of its organizational presentation hosted on Friday, March 15th.

The session – entitled “Where Global Meets Local in International Research and Publications” – was presented by TIRF Trustee Andy Curtis and Joyce Kling, Research Academic Officer at the University of Copenhagen and former TIRF DDG awardee. The abstract for the talk is as follows: For the past 20 years, TIRF has served as a nexus between research and practice, and among language researchers worldwide via its research-support programs and publications. In this session, we highlight TIRF’s collaborative efforts and demonstrate how the Foundation helps connect local and global needs in international language education.
