About the TIRF Influencers Program

Help Expand Impact in English Language Education Research

The TIRF Influencers program brings together educators, researchers, students, professional organizations, and other members of the global English language education community who share a common goal: advancing research, professional development, and innovation in the field.

Since its inception, TIRF has supported research that improves English language teaching and learning worldwide. Through grants, awards, publications, webinars, and special initiatives, TIRF helps researchers and educators develop ideas that make a lasting difference in classrooms and communities.

As a TIRF Influencer, you become part of a worldwide network of advocates who help connect colleagues with valuable opportunities and resources. By sharing TIRF news through your existing professional networks, you help ensure that more educators and researchers benefit from the Foundation’s work.

Participation is entirely voluntary and flexible. You decide what to share, when to share it, and how it best fits your professional activities.

Is there a cost to participate?

No. The program is completely free to join.

Do I need a large social media following?

No. We welcome Influencers with varying audience sizes.

How much time is required?

Most Influencers spend only a few minutes each month reviewing optional updates and deciding what they would like to share.

Can organizations participate?

Yes. Both individuals and organizations may become TIRF Influencers.

By becoming a TIRF Influencer, am I an official representative or member of TIRF?

No. TIRF is not a membership-based organization, and its official representatives are its Trustees and staff.

Can I share TIRF content in languages other than English?

Yes. Participants are welcome to share information about TIRF in any language that best serves their audiences.

Can I stop participating at any time?

Yes. Participation is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time.
