New Additions to the TIRF Reference List Collection
This time of year marks the beginning of a new school term in a number of countries around the world, and we have a back-to-school gift for you. One of TIRF’s many resources is its collection of more than 260 reference lists. They may interest teachers, researchers, graduate students, teacher educators, program administrators, and anyone else who wants help finding citations on important topics in language teaching and applied linguistics. We are pleased to announce that two new reference lists have been developed and posted recently.

The first is on Families, Parents, and Language Learning and Teaching. It includes citations on parents’ and siblings’ influence on language learners and familial attitudes about various types of language programs. The citations represent research conducted in many different countries.
The second is on Arts-based Education and Language Learning. Inspired by the recent TESOL-TIRF Research Symposium module on Arts Rich Translanguaging Pedagogy, this list includes citations to using various art forms with both children and adult language learners.
We hope you will find these two reference lists and many others helpful in your own work. They are all stored as Word documents and can be downloaded for free by anyone who wants to use them.
