The 2024 TIRF-British Council Research Mentoring Awards (RMAs) proposal deadline closed on Sunday, June 30th. Here is a quick glance at some of the key application data we collected from the second year of the program.

The RMAs, first offered last year, are designed to support new researchers and improve the quality of research undertaken by students in doctoral programs within the field of English language education on issues of mutual interest to TIRF and the British Council. The RMAs are targeted at individuals from approximately 60 countries in the world, in four particular regions: Africa, Latin America, East Asia, and Southeast Asia.
