To help demonstrate the “I” in “TIRF,” each year, after we award our latest Doctoral Dissertation Grant (DDG) recipients, we update the “TIRF Alumni” map. Using Google Maps, the latest grantees are added to this online resource.
As you’ll see, we share information about the DDG awardees, including their names, hometowns, information about their studies, and links to summaries of their award-winning research. Supporters can also see information about other TIRF awardees – individuals who received a Masters Research Grant or a Priority Research Grant in years past.
As of October 2022, TIRF’s DDG program alone has resulted in supporting 183 grantees from many regions of the world. The latest DDG recipients awarded just last month come from the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, China, Iran, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and the USA.
