MaryAnn Christison

Dr. MaryAnn Christison is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics and a faculty member in the Urban Institute for Teachers at the University of Utah. She teaches undergraduate courses as well as courses in the M.A. and Ph.D. graduate programs. She is the author of over 90 published and refereed articles on language teaching and second language research and 18 books. Dr. Christison was TESOL President from 1997 to 1998. She has been a classroom teacher for nearly 40 years, teaching in elementary, secondary, adult, and university environments. She has been a teacher educator for more than 25 years, working with teachers in the U.S. and in over 30 different countries throughout the world.
